Professionally made app - Better to spend 11 quid on a really good app than buy 7 crap and cheap ones. This app is well made, although not quite sure how high how I am supposed to set the tinnutus replicator. Should it be barely audible or not at all? That said, i really enjoy the sounds of nature and coild easily listem to tjem all day long. I will need to discipline myself to defocus from my tinnitus, which is going to be the difficult part. Well done to the makers. http://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/tinnitus-help/id382593362?mt=8

Sehr entspannend! Herzlichen Dank! http://itunes.apple.com/ch/app/tinnitus-help/id382593362?mt=8

Real Tinnitus help (in my situation at least) - Since 4 years i suffer from - what I understand from other sufferers- a mild case of tinnitus. Mostly in the higher ranges I experience this annoying tone. I use Tinnitus Help on a daily basis on my iphone(1/2 hour) and my tinnitus problems have almost gone! At first I had some dizziness and a heavy stomach but this was soon over. Using the software takes some time but now I even mix with my favorite music. http://itunes.apple.com/nl/app/tinnitus-help/id382593362?mt=8

DANKE!

E-Mail of the day / E-Mail des Tages

Hi,
The previous e-mail I send to you was from Juli last year. Now I am 6 months further and I would like to give you a small update;
My Tinnitus is much more acceptable and I’m not thinking of it 24/7.

Today I went to the Hearing center ( Adelante ) in Hoensbroek, Netherlands. They did several tests and my Hearing loss/damage ( left ear everything above 8500 HZ ) is still the same but the Tinnitus level much more controllable.

I explained to them what great help the “Tinnitus Help” app was/is, I even gave them a demonstration of it and the audiologist was very impressed.

Your App helps as a tool for accepting Tinnitus, and if it helps me then most certain it will help others with the same symptom. I’m still grateful towards you for developing this app, that’s why everyone should know about the existence of it.

I cannot thank you enough. Keep up the good work.
Rgds,

  • "tinnitus help is one of the best things I ever purchased!!" Pros: Dead easy to use. Read the instructions, then have a little play and you'll be up and running in no time. I moved backwards and forwards between the different settings to get a feel for the programme. Cons: There are none. Summary: Just downloaded the tinnitus help App on my iPhone, read the instructions and then had a play with the controls to set everything up to my needs. I moved backwards and forwards a few times to get it just right for my tinnitus. What can I say?...I love it!! It is very easy to use and already, after using it for the first time, I can feel it starting to take effect. I showed it to my husband and let him listen to the sounds of nature (after having switched the other controls to silence), now I am in danger of losing my iPhone because he wants to listen to them, just to relax. The sounds of nature are fantastic. Turn them on, close your eyes and start dreaming and relaxing. This was money very well spent!! A big thank you to the makers. http://download.cnet.com/tinnitus-help/3000-2129_4-75242097.html?tag=mncol;3#userreview
  • Great for everybody suffering under tinnitus! An app that is abolutely superbe for everybody suffering under tinnitus AND stress! I use it every day! http://www.pcworld.com/appguide/app.html?id=590312&expand=false
  • Pretty good app. I've been using a iphone app called Tinnitus Help after someone here alerted me to it. It's pretty good with some limitations. So the idea with all these as I get it, is to stimulate the brain/auditory cortex at the frequencies we have hearing loss. So this will allow you to find the tinnitus frequencies in each ear independently, set the volume of the matching tone in each ear to blend with the T, add nature sounds, white noise, and a limited music selection... http://www.dailystrength.org/c/Tinnitus/recs/3223-tone-generator/page-2
  • Almost better than Neuromonics - This app is almost better than the expensive ($4,000 USD) Neuromonics device that I tried for a month. The build quality and frequency response on the Neuromonics device are poor and the thought of carrying yet another electronic gadget and wired headphones was very unattractive.Worse, the Neuromonics system stopped masking my tinnitus within hours of getting home with it. I believe the demo sound files were a better fit for me than the custom files I got to take home. Getting retested and updated sound files from the audiologist was a slow and expensive process and I gave up without ever getting a good set of files. This app does not solve the 'two device' problem since the app does not function with the iPhone in sleep mode and it does not run in the background on iOS 4.x. Check your email, read an ebook, or preserve battery life and your tinnitus therapy will stop cold. When this is improved I'll add a star or two to the review. This app provides lots of options for creating a useful masking sound. I have never been able to get a frequency match, no matter what the tool or testing procedure. The pink, red brown, and white noise generators in this app are proving to be very useful in my case. On top of that you can layer one of 12 nature sounds and one of only two simple instrumental music tracks. The resulting therapy isn't exactly like Neuromonics. In that process they apparently do not simply 'layer' sound on top of sound but use a subtractive process that results in the music having rapidly spaced gaps that allow the tinnitus matched sounds to peek through. The instructions for setting maximum volume are poorly written / translated into English but are close enough. With no way to run the app in the background or sleep the device, touching the screen accidentally or putting the iPhone in a pocket will likely stop the sound. It currently seems impossible to set the iPhone volume with sufficient precision using the hardware rocker switch on the side of the phone. The app really needs a master volume control that will make it easier to fine tune the therapy volume to levels between any two adjacent settings on the iPhone. For example, between 'mute' and the first lowest volume setting on the iPhone is a large jump if you use noise isolating earphones. I'd like to set the app volume to levels between the steps available on the device.I was determined to call the audiologist on Monday after struggling with another sleepless night but am glad I did an app search (yet again) for a Neuromonics replacement. With endless options to tweak the masking sounds in this app, it should be easy to keep the tinnitus well masked. I doubt that any app or Neuromonics have true value in treating tinnitus but this app can provide some peace. http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/tinnitus-help/id382593362?mt=8&affId=1801837&ign-mpt=uo%3D2
  • Agree with much of what has been said. Great idea and a good start. Needs Background option with iOS4, better audio control sensitivity, Option to choose a piece of music from your iTunes library http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/tinnitus-help/id382593362?mt=8
Danke! - Tinnitus help has become a precious app to me. The principle of reprogramming is plausible and the sounds of nature and the music are absolutely fine. Although the operation is really easy. Thank you. http://appez.de/2010/10/tinnitus-help-ind-ingenieurbuero-f-nachrichten-u-datentechnik.html
  • "absolutely recommendable!" Pros: Many possibilities to use this app: mainly against my earnoise, but also for relaxing, for better sleep, and to support hearing processes. Compliment to the developers! Cons: Nothing to complain! http://download.cnet.com/tinnitus-help/3000-2129_4-75242097.html?tag=mncol;3#userreview
  • Extremely happy. I have used this app for just over a week now, and just upgraded to v1.17 & I am extremely happy with my purchase. I was suffering from VERY loud tinnitis and was not sure how to deal with it as there is no real cure for it. I saw that there were cheaper versions of tinnitis help programs on the Apps store and other places but this one sounded much better from the outlines for a few dollars more and I am sure I was correct. I have used the program 2-3 times a day for up to an hour each time and I have already had some substantial drop in the effect of my tinnitis. It feels as if it has mostly gone away, even though I know it can't be totally fixed. I now only have slight ringing and often do not have any sound. Silence can be SO golden. It's hard to believe the good felling of getting rid of the 24 hour noise in my head. If you want something to help your tinnitis I strongly recommend this product even though it costs a few dollars more than the other apps. http://itunes.apple.com/ca/app/tinnitus-help/id382593362?mt=8&affId=1801837&ign-mpt=uo%3D2
  • Great Idea! No more noisers or maskers necessary - THANKYOU! http://www.downloadcheapapp.com/tinnitus-help-iphone-app-11664.html
  • Very good app, offers deep relaxation and - of course the minimation of tinnitus, I tried it with success!! http://www.downloadcheapapp.com/tinnitus-help-iphone-app-11664.html
  • Tinnitus help is a really superb app. My tinnitus is much better now. And apart from this the natural noises are very lovely. I switch my iPod on at the office and it sounds and feels like beeing in nature. http://www.downloadcheapapp.com/tinnitus-help-iphone-app-11664.html
  • A really amazing app! Tinnitus help is a really amazing app. I use it on my iPhone. My hearing noises keep on turning down after a couple of treatments. And the natural sounds and the music are simply great! Even if one does not suffer from tinnitus (anymore). http://www.appolicious.com/health/apps/274971-tinnitus-help-ind-ingenieurbuero-f-nachrichten-u-datentechnik
  • Positive surprise! Very intelligent program! I was sceptical, but it works! A must for every tinnitus patient and for everybody who wants to relax. A big thankyou to the developers! http://www.appolicious.com/health/apps/274971-tinnitus-help-ind-ingenieurbuero-f-nachrichten-u-datentechnik

  • Genau, was ich gesucht habe.

  • tinnitus help - dead easy to use, sit back and relax - I recently downloaded the tinnitus help App on my iPhone. After reading the instructions, I had a play with the controls to set everything up to my needs. I moved backwards and forwards a few times to get it just right for my tinnitus. It has got a flexible tinnitus noise section and also lovely sounds of nature and relaxing music. What can I say, I love it. http://downloadnew.biz/review/tinnitus-help-for-iphone-768639/

  • Works for me. - This takes the ringing out of my head and puts in into my iPhone (which is a huge relief). Awesome sound quality, but I would like to see an update: The instructions (they're a tad confusing) and you can only save one profile as far as I'm aware, I would like to be able to save a few. Thanks for a great app! http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/tinnitus-help/id382593362?mt=8&affId=1801837&ign-mpt=uo%3D2
  • Glad I found this app…. - I am another one that was told that I have Tinnitus and there is nothing that can be done for it and to live with it. I thought at times I was going to go crazy with this stuff….. it is just awful at times until you get a grip on it I guess you could say. I just got this in Jan 2011 and have learned I have more than one sound I hear…. I hear four last time I counted. And most of the time I hear my heart beat in my left ear and ringing, hissing, a tinny sound and also what I think I am hearing is bubbles popping in my right ear. I have searched the internet high and low trying to find options to help myself without drugs. From my understanding Xanax is the number one drug to help this however I do not want to get addicted to anything and it is highly addicted. As another person stated Neuromonics is around $4,000.00 and you have to go to a lot of therapy or counseling….. I felt this was a joke as far as prices go. I also found Paxx which is the same thing more or less like the Neuromonics…. however the Paxx is much cheaper $650.00 plus shipping. Very nice people also… and you have to answer a two page medical history about your tinnitus and health and send them a hearing test that has been done within the last 12 months…. I was going to go for this option and already was approved for needing this device. However I found this app and thought I would give it a try it first….. I wish this dev had the directions on his website so that we could go to it and re-read it while trying to set this app up. However I played around and I am very close to what my Tinnitus sounds like…… just hope I am doing this right! As for masking…. I was told not to use masking because its teaching your brain that it is ok to hear your Tinnitus. So I am not using that part of this app. To the dev pease add more music Be able to save more than one profile. My tinnitus does have more than one sound. Last count was four Add your own music Also please removed the grass wallpaper within the app And please use black for your characters for the directions. I'd rather see a soothing color background then the ugly grass…. makes the app look cheesy! Talking to the makers of both Neuromomics and Paxx they both say you should listen to their devices at least three to four hours a day and while listening go about your business like you normally would…. Listen a half hour and then wait etc….etc…. All I can say is be patient with yourself…. this tinnitus is a learning curve and one needs to learn ones self. http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/tinnitus-help/id382593362?mt=8&affId=1801837&ign-mpt=uo%3D2
Hoe werkt het....: 1: Put on your headphones 2: Click on start 3: Select the T. frequency that matches your left, right or both ears. 4: Set the volume so that your T. is just covered, taking care that the volume is not too loud. It should only be heard in the background. 5: Overlay mix your chosen T. profile with a pleasing additional sound ( trickling water, Summer rain, bird song, white nosie etc ).

  • It work's for me - The directions are a bit difficult to understand but once you figure it out, it does condition your brain to ignore the tinnitus. As a commercial pilot, this came on a few years ago and couldn't get rid of it but now I've learned to control it and I have to concentrate hard to actually hear it now. • (iPad) Geniale Tinnitus app! ***** - by physik-tao - Version 1.22 - May 7, 2013: Super Super!!
Danke
  • 2 years increasing accouphene ***** - by Accouphene left ear - Version 1.21 - Oct 4, 2012 : I had an accouphene during 1,5 years that was constantly increasing in the left ear, and with the help of this software, It went away, where many ear-nose doctors / hno could never help me. The application is even much better than the machines they will propose to sell you. This application can help a lot of people and must never be retired from the consumer market! For me, selecting a nearby frequency than my accouphene made it slowly disapear, using a sea shore noise as a background.
  • Echt super App ***** - by Ben30111984 - Version 1.20 - Jun 28, 2011 : Hat gleich beim 1. Versuch tolle Erfolge erzielt.
  • Tinnitus Help ***** - by Lagaffe 2010 - Version 1.17 - Sep 19, 2011: Ein überaus hilfreicher App. Absolut empfehlenswert.
  • 5 Sterne ***** - by LeoReiter - Version 1.17 - Oct 6, 2010 : Eine tolle App! Super zum Entspannen und hilfreich gegen Migräne.

  • tinnitis help ***** - by kitimatken - Version 1.17 - Sep 26, 2010 : I have used this app for just over a week now, and just upgraded to v1.17 & I am extremely happy with my purchase.

  • This is great ***** - by Stingr@y - Version 1.20 - Mar 31, 2011 : What can I say? If you suffer from tinnitus this program is must! There are so many settings what you can adjust and create your unique profile. Worth of money!

Sehr entspannend! Herzlichen Dank!
  • guter Helfer ***** - by miZiH - Version 1.20 - May 5, 2011 : seriöses Programm, fairer Preis. Danke.

  • Tinnitus ***** - by wingspan1 - Version 1.21 - Jan 14, 2013 : Just got tinnitus in right ear. I have a very high frequency high pitched screech which is constant. This is a legacy from a bout of flu over Xmas. This app does give me relieve from the noise and helps significantly with adjusting your life to accommodate this ailment . Early days regards habituation success but think it will work as already showing signs of switching off from it. As always quiet space is the most troublesome to accommodate as the frequency appears higher and more noticeable, I have headaches associated with this tinnitus due to the very high frequency I guess.... Any higher and wont be able to hear it . Now that would be good. Anyway the app. Good piece of German development . Very easy to use and highly effective . Given the impact if the disease the cost is irrelevant really and best save your cash as other apps like this are not good . I also use one other free app as a simple white mouse generator to remove the tinnitus immediately.... Works well whilst driving. Of course you can use this app for mediation ..., white noise or as a tinnitus habituation independently. Worth the dosh ..... Buy it if you want to wage war on your tinnitus. Brian
  • Lulu ***** - by Lunnar23 - Version 1.21 - Sep 9, 2012 : This app is amazing, all the frequencies are quite accurate. I am able to find the exactly same tune As my tinnitus in my head. Help me a lot. Thanks:)
  • Professionally made app ***** - by David newton - Version 1.21 - Sep 19, 2011 : Better to spend 11 quid on a really good app than buy 7 crap and cheap ones.
  • tinnitus help - dead easy to use, sit back and relax ***** - by Jumbo's wife - Version 1.20 - Mar 27, 2011 : I recently downloaded the tinnitus help App on my iPhone. After reading the instructions, I had a play with the controls to set everything up to my needs. I moved backwards and forwards a few times to get it just right for my tinnitus. What can I say?...I love it!! It is very easy to use and I could feel it starting to take effect immediately. Dead easy to use. Read the instructions, then have a little play and you’ll be up and running in no time.

  • It work's for me **** - by Stewsan - Version 1.22 - Mar 18, 2013: The directions are a bit difficult to understand but once you figure it out, it does condition your brain to ignore the tinnitus. As a commercial pilot, this came on a few years ago and couldn't get rid of it but now I've learned to control it and I have to concentrate hard to actually hear it now. It's worth the price and the updates just make it much better.Thank IND….
  • Works For Me! ***** - by Cordera23 - Version 1.21 - Sep 21, 2012 : I’ve tried a few different apps to help reduce my Tinnitus and this works the best. I got pretty good results right away and even improved on that over a few months as I tweaked the settings. I was able to do this without an audiologist. I don’t introduce a tinnitus freq as that worsens my condition but this might work for you. Everyone is different and you need to determine what works for you. tinnitus freq can be turned off turning volume all the way down. For variety, I created a few playlists of soothing music that I overlay with sounds of nature (summer rain). I sometimes use the music that came with the app; that works too. I listen to it as I sleep, it is very soothing and I fall asleep quickly. My tinnitus was quite bad at one point and I didn’t know how I would live with it. With the help of this app I can make it almost nonexistent.
  • Agree with much of what has been said ***** - by Cr3ate - Version 1.21 - Dec 26, 2011 : Hey guys (ladies) thanks for reading the reviews an making updates. Your updates an response are appreciated! --- Great idea and a good start. Needs: - Background option with iOS4 - Needs better audio control sensitivity - Option to choose a piece of music from your iTunes library.
  • Glad I found this app…. **** - by thetoothfairy - Version 1.20 - Jul 22, 2011 : I am another one that was told that I have Tinnitus and there is nothing that can be done for it and to live with it.
  • Works for me. ***** - by pepperdex - Version 1.20 - Jun 26, 2011 : This takes the ringing out of my head and puts in into my iPhone (which is a huge relief). Awesome sound quality, but I would like to see an update: The instructions (they're a tad confusing) and you can only save one profile as far as I'm aware, I would like to be able to save a few. Thanks for a great app!
  • Good Start **** - by Abbotte - Version 1.20 - May 5, 2011 : For the price it is amazing.
  • Almost better than Neuromonics *** - by RRhinos - Version 1.17 - Oct 2, 2010 : This app is almost better than the expensive ($4,000 USD) Neuromonics device that I tried for a month. The build quality and frequency response on the Neuromonics device are poor and the thought of carrying yet another electronic gadget and wired headphones was very unattractive. Worse, the Neuromonics system stopped masking my tinnitus within hours of getting home with it. I'd like to set the app volume to levels between the steps available on the device. I was determined to call the audiologist on Monday after struggling with another sleepless night but am glad I did an app search (yet again) for a Neuromonics replacement. With endless options to tweak the masking sounds in this app, it should be easy to keep the tinnitus well masked. I doubt that any app or Neuromonics have true value in treating tinnitus but this app can provide some peace.
  • Nice app *** - by USA English Speaker - Version 1.15 - Aug 18, 2010 : I am just getting started, but it looks like this app might really help my tinnitus. It has everything!
